* Applause*!!!
For Timrod and Grodog.
Great research T and Thanks for Sharing G...
I have used that map and B1 module as a training ground for new players in prep for T1 for years. Knowing that certainly seems so Monday Morning obvious now. Embarassed
The follow through with Frank was great feedback too.

That was an enjoyable, and thought provoking, read.

Thanks, Allan.

Yes, that was quite an interesting bit of scholarly sleuthing. Thanks for bringing it to our attention Allan. Smile

Thanks!

20 years later, I can rest assured that my placement of the monastary does indeed have its roots in Greyhawk. And now I know exactly where. I still hope my friend can find my stocked version of it where I rolled up a demon with claws for hands that drained levels. Boy, the players were surprised when they encountered that baddie!

I pinged Luke Gygax to see if he recalls any further details on it, and he's doing some digging.

I'll be pleased to hear what he discovers if it verifies any of this speculative fun. Smile

Unfortunately neither Luke nor Ernie remember any specifics. I'll have to ask Tim Kask and Rob when I see them in June.

Hey! Tim Krask is someone I've actually met in person! I feel like I'm hanging with the Big Dogs now! Cool
