In the waters between Turucambi Reef, the Sinking Isle, and the Jungle of Lost Ships lies a deepwater chasm, the Devils' Purse. Within these waters, the Leviathan lurks.
Various beasts have taken on the mantle of the Leviathan over the ages; a zaratan, a nautilus, and a kraken have all been seen in the Solnor over the Devils' Purse. Each was gargantuan in size and foul of temperament.
The creature known as the hydrimera recently ruled as Leviathan until his reign was usurped by the amphisbaena, a two-headed moray eel.
