Greyhawk Journal #1

Greyhawk Journal 1

Our first issue is almost here!
While a large part of the switch occurred in Issue 5 of the Grey Grimoire, this is the first issue fully done by the team of Rick Miller and myself. With a new team, we have a new name, and are now the Greyhawk Journal.
Along with that, we have a name for our regular magic item offerings – Malaketh’s Seven Codices of Arcana & Mysteria, which joins Henway’s Magnificent Menagerie, the regular feature for new monsters.
Along with all the names, are a lineup of some exceptional articles.

Magepoint by Rick “Duicarthan” Miller examines the town that is home to the castle of Tenser. Learn more of the people who support the archmage and his plans for the Flanaess.

The Floating Worlds of Oerth by Roger “Rogar of Mooria” Moore answers the age old question, “When is a kaiju not an island?” If that causes a double take, wait until you see these potent servants of higher powers that he brings to Oerth.

The Green Slayer by Ewan “Norker” Cummins presents an NPC that is as deadly as it is unusual. Will PCs be able to stop it before it stops its targets – or them?

The Bronze Sword of Najos by Paul “Artharn the Cleric” Jurdeczka brings a legendary Flan relic to light. If PCs can recover it, it may change the politics of the Flanaess forever.

G-ds of the Oerth: Ranet by Amy “Thaela” Crittdenden explores one the most obscure powers of Oerth, though to be dead since the Twin Cataclysms. Dead, but not quite forgotten.

The Mask of the Cuttlefish by Troy “Cannibaal” Alleman details a wondrous item of the sea to reward those players willing to risk the dangers of the depths.

Ecology of the Sea Giant by Troy “Cannibaal” Alleman looks at a rare type of giant that inhabits the seas of the Flanaess. Not everything under the sea is looking to eat you.

The Hoblogger Trilogy of Terror by Paul “Artharn the Cleric” Jurdeczka is just in time for your Halloween adventure needs. From brief blurbs by Samuel “Samwise” Weiss, these three short adventures set in Irongate are based on classic movies and seasoned with some HepAnimals for extra weirdness.
