The Small Gods article didn't really go into mechanical detail, it was more about the fluff of creating and classifying very minor powers. Nevertheless I would recommend it if you can find a copy. If I needed stats for Alvonea I'd probably just build up a very powerful nymph with some extra powers from Deities & Demigods.
I'll second or third the liking for "small gods." This was a great article in Dragon and I like this application. It adds flavor without overburdening GH's already overburdened roster of the divine. Good article. _________________ GVD
I realy like his article by smillan_31. I think the small god idea works very well in this context, and I think the over all detailing of south hill was excellent.
