2E Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk

Got a question... 2E doesn't have a Blaspheme, which is what Riggby ends up as. Any suggestion as to a powerful undead creature to sub?

Forgive my ignorance, but not familiar with a Blaspheme.

However, if you want a powerful undead alternative, that's pretty easy.

Lich
Vampire
Spectre
Ghost

take your pick,

I've done some work in the past converting 3e devils and demons into 2e rules so had a go at the blaspheme for you.

Blaspheme

CLIMATE/TERRAIN: Cold hills and plains
FREQUENCY: Very Rare
ORGANIZATION: Solitary or pair
ACTIVITY CYCLE: Any
DIET: See below
INTELLIGENCE: Low (5-7)
TREASURE: E
ALIGNMENT: NE

NO. APPEARING: 1-2
ARMOUR CLASS: 0
MOVEMENT: 16
HIT DICE: 18
THAC0: 3
NO. OF ATTACKS: 1
DAMAGE/ATTACK: 1-8
SPECIAL ATTACKS: Strength drain, erratic charge
SPECIAL DEFENCES: See below
MAGIC RESISTANCE: Nil
SIZE: M (6’-7’ tall)
MORALE: Champion (15-16)
XP VALUE: 12,000

Appearing similar to a corpse that has been dug up and surgically modified, a blaspheme stands nearly 7 feet tall, but is extraordinarily thin, weighing about 190lbs. They possess extra long arms that hang nearly to mid-calf and a head that is wide and wedge-shaped, with a split mouth that opens wider than that of a normal humanoid filled with teeth that glitter like shards of black, steaming ice. Blasphemes can understand and speak Common.

Combat: Blasphemes are not hulking, slow-moving constructs; rather, they are lithe and deadly, aware of their surroundings and capable of directing their own actions. A blaspheme resonates with evil power, the focus of which is concentrated in its teeth. Thus, blasphemes charge into combat in almost every situation, attempting to bite their victims as quickly as possible. When charging into melee, as long as the target is in sight, a blaspheme does not need to run in a straight line. Each time a blaspheme bites a non-evil creature, in addition to inflicting 1-8 points of damage, that creature is drained of 1-6 points of Strength. There is no saving throw against this effect and lost Strength points return 2-8 turns after being bitten.
Like most undead blasphemes are immune to sleep, charm, hold, death magic, poisons, and cold-based damage. Blunt and piercing weapons only do half damage against a blaspheme, slashing (Type S) weapons are required to do full damage. Vials of holy water inflict 2-8 points of damage per direct hit.

Habitat/Society: Crafted in bygone days by power-mad wizards searching to create the perfect undead guardians, blasphemes still roam forgotten areas, seeking to destroy non-evil creatures with their blasphemous bite and quench their insatiable craving to drain the strength of such creatures. They are most likely to be encountered near ruins of ancient cities where magic was valued more highly than personal liberty or morals.

Ecology: Each blaspheme is created with parts from multiple ancient corpses, with teeth specially harvested from sacrifices to Evil powers. If the secret of creating or calling a blaspheme into the world still exists, it is likely buried below the ruins they haunt.

The blaspheme appears in Libris Mortis.
